Launch of the HIPAA-HITECH Blue Ribbon Panel™
We are very pleased to announce the launch of the HIPAA-HITECH Blue Ribbon Panel™, a series of monthly live web events featuring healthcare industry experts offering relevant updates and discussing ramifications of the evolving HIPAA-HITECH regulations. Our first live web event is Thursday, July 14 at 5pm ET / 4pm CT / 2pm PT.
HIPAA-HITECH Blue Ribbon Panel events will feature qualified authorities representing major HIPAA covered entity groups, business associates, compliance officers and attorneys. The purpose of the series is to educate and inform interested professionals about HIPAA-HITECH compliance issues and potential solutions in addition to the emerging consequences of non-compliance. Each 90-minute event will be moderated by Clearwater Compliance President Bob Chaput and feature five to six expert panelists who will address applicable and timely HIPAA-HITECH topics.
Here at Clearwater Compliance, we are committed to working with covered entities and business associates across the healthcare industry to become and remain compliant with the regulations while protecting the personal and intimate health information of Americans. The HIPAA-HITECH Blue Ribbon Panel was designed to make the latest relevant privacy and security updates and valuable insights available to healthcare professionals from some of the most knowledgeable HIPAA-HITECH professionals in the country free of charge.
Monthly discussion topics will be published in advance and registration will be available online at http://abouthipaa.com/webinars/blue-ribbon-panel-live-events. Utilizing the GoToWebinar platform, attendees will have the ability to submit questions to the panelists at any point during the live web events. A recorded version of the discussion will be posted on our http://AboutHIPAA.com website within 96 hours of each event, along with relevant documents, including slides, white papers, regulations or blog posts.
The first event in the series, focused on HIPAA Security Risk Analysis DOs and DON’Ts, will take place on Thursday, July 14 at 5 p.m. EDT. We hope you will join us!
